In this week’s episode of The Bookshop at the End of the Internet, author Laura Moe discusses her unintentional series of young adult novels. She is the author of the award-winning novel, Breakfast with Neruda. When the characters from her first book wouldn’t stop showing up and feeding her storylines, Laura became convinced she had to continue to write their stories. Her two latest books, both released this year, continue the storyline from her first book and are titled, Blue Valentines and The Language of the Son. Tune in to hear Laura discuss her writing journey, the challenges of both indie publishing and traditional publishing and how her background as a librarian, teacher and writing instructor has influenced her own writing.
