Kay has written a contemporary series set in the small town of Chancey, GA, as well as a series set along the northern coast of Florida. Kay has always been an avid reader, and she grew up dreaming about becoming an author. But it wasn’t until she was married and a mother of three that she gave writing serious consideration. One night at a book club meeting, Kay made an innocent comment about the book being discussed. She asked, “Don’t you wish you’d written that book?” Her question was met with blank stares, and she realized that not everyone dreamed about becoming a writer. Kay stopped dreaming, started writing and hasn’t looked back.
