In this week’s episode of The Bookshop at the End of the Internet, author and poet Jim Weinsier discusses his poetry and children's picture books. In 2006, Jim experienced three devastating events -— the loss of his father, son and grandson. To help his other grandchildren cope with their grief, Jim wrote a children’s picture book, “Where Do We Go?”. He offers this book to hospitals and grief organizations to help kids process and deal with death. Tune in to hear Jim discuss his writing journey, how love and loss have inspired his writing and why, even after publishing multiple books, he is reluctant to call himself an author.
